Fall Food Drive
The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Sept. 4 through Nov. 15

Help the Triangle Hoos reach our goal of 500 POUNDS in food donations!

The Triangle Hoos are sponsoring a food drive in conjunction with each club event lined up this fall. Please bring any non-perishable items (no glass!) you wish to donate to the events you attend. Not able to attend every event? You can still bring your items to the food bank closest to you or donate online in our virtual food drive. Just be sure to mention that your donation is being made on behalf of the UVA Club of the Triangle so we may keep track of our goal.

Our committee strives to organize activities that allow UVA alumni to come together and give back to the Triangle community by volunteering our time and efforts for various worthy causes. We plan events such as Cavaliers Care (UVA's nationwide volunteerism effort, held annually in April) and Habitat for Humanity work days. Groups that we have volunteered with in the past include:

Durham Public Education Network
Habitat for Humanity of Wake County
IMAGINE (Increased Mobility And Greater INdependence Equipment)
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Adopt-A-Family Program

To increase the number of Cavaliers Care projects our club can support each year
